Fashion Friday.

Good morning! TGIF!

I've decided to start something new on the blog. Anyone who knows me, knows that I LOVE fashion. I spend more money on clothes than I should or need to but I can't help it, I just LOVE clothes! Seriously, you should see my closet, it's over flowing. (My boyfriend makes fun of me all the time for it.) I love shopping and putting together outfits and I feel prettiest when I'm wearing an outfit that I love. Fashion is what first sparked my interest in becoming a photographer, in the first place. So with the help of some very inspiring blogs and fellow photographers, I've decided to start Fashion Friday!

Every Friday, I will write a post about fashion. Whether it be an outfit that I've worn recently that I love or a trend that I've noticed recently I will make a post about. Whatever it may be, it will be fashion. So enjoy the first ever Fashion Friday!

This is an outfit that I've put together recently. I LOVE the pop of yellow that this dress gives and I think the denim jacket suits it well. I threw the green tights in there just to mix things up and the heels I hardly wear, but I like the strappy sandals and the fact that they make me look taller.

Now anybody who knows me, knows I never wear heels. Mainly because I can't, ( I have bad knees).
So, here's an alternative to the heels. BOOTS! Which I adore!

Erin, Zach and Madi.

I don't really know what to say about these people other than they are awesome! Erin has been my hairdresser for years, so when she asked me to photograph her little girl, Madi, and her family, I was beyond excited. Madi is a very adorable and energetic toddler. (I got a workout trying to keep up with her!) But, the camera absolutely loves her! (:

Needless to say I had a blast photographing this family! I hope you enjoy them!

Red lipstick, Ribbons, and Bows...

I was going to be nice and give Valentine's day a chance by doing a "Valentine's" themed photo-shoot today, but because Valentine's day apparantly feels the same way about me that I feel about it...it didn't work out. So, I decided to do another "fashion" inspired shoot.

It was fun.

Sierra.

Awhile ago, the gorgeous Sierra messaged me and asked me to take her photos. It took us a couple of weeks to finally be able to take her photos, but when we did it was a blast. She has a wonderfully, bubbly personality and a smile that matches. Alaska also played nice and stayed above zero for the entire shoot.

 Christina is one of my best friends and my lovely co-worker and I love her and her children dearly, so I jumped on the chance to use her children in my portfolio. Her kids are so adorable and have such big and expressive personalities. I think that really shows in their photos!

Katie:Senior 2012

A few weeks ago Katie and I approached each other about photographing some senior photos for her. She's absolutely gorgeous and such a sweetheart so of course I was SO excited about this. We had a lot of fun and and she rocked it in front of the camera, despite the freezing temperatures, (and me making her wear a dress.) (;
