Sisters: Amber and Jacklin

I had such a great time getting to know and photograph these two lovely sisters.  Their eyes are incredible and the have looks to die for. They were so sweet and so welcoming to me. Not only were they fabulous clients, I also made a great friendship that I'm sure will last a lifetime. Thanks for the lovely shoot ladies! I had such a blast!

Headshots: Lauren

My friends Lauren texted me last weekend asking for some head shots. She auditions for small roles in movies, commercials, tv shows, etc. She has gotten chosen based on a few photos that I took of her a few years ago, but she wanted some updated ones. So, we took about 20 minutes to shoot for 2-3 final head shots. So of course, I took 63 photos. Anyways we had a great time and here are my favorites. (:

Oh man! Was this a fun shoot or what? I mean what can't be fun about hiking around Hatcher's Pass with a beautiful young lady in a prom dress?

Becca and I met on facebook a few years back and when I posted about just wanting to have a shoot just for fun, Becca leaped at the chance. She had this wonderful idea of doing a variation of the "trash the dress" shoot, but instead of a wedding dress, she decided she wanted to use her senior prom dress. What a fantastic idea that was! We had so much fun getting asked, "Are you guys taking photos? Cause you look far too classy to be hiking around Hatcher's Pass.", or getting sung "the hills are alive, with the sound of muuuusic!".

All in all it was a BLAST! And I thoroughly enjoyed editing them...I may have gotten a little crazy on some of them.

Fashion Friday.

Good morning! TGIF!

I've decided to start something new on the blog. Anyone who knows me, knows that I LOVE fashion. I spend more money on clothes than I should or need to but I can't help it, I just LOVE clothes! Seriously, you should see my closet, it's over flowing. (My boyfriend makes fun of me all the time for it.) I love shopping and putting together outfits and I feel prettiest when I'm wearing an outfit that I love. Fashion is what first sparked my interest in becoming a photographer, in the first place. So with the help of some very inspiring blogs and fellow photographers, I've decided to start Fashion Friday!

Every Friday, I will write a post about fashion. Whether it be an outfit that I've worn recently that I love or a trend that I've noticed recently I will make a post about. Whatever it may be, it will be fashion. So enjoy the first ever Fashion Friday!

This is an outfit that I've put together recently. I LOVE the pop of yellow that this dress gives and I think the denim jacket suits it well. I threw the green tights in there just to mix things up and the heels I hardly wear, but I like the strappy sandals and the fact that they make me look taller.

Now anybody who knows me, knows I never wear heels. Mainly because I can't, ( I have bad knees).
So, here's an alternative to the heels. BOOTS! Which I adore!

Newborn: Noah

You guys are probably going to be pretty sick of seeing and hearing about my nephew here soon, but I promise for now I think I'm done for awhile. I was so excited when my nephew was born because I was going to be able to photograph my first newborn. As in a week old newborn, and let me tell you something...They are HARD to photograph. Noah just happens to be a little wiggle worm and doesn't like being away from his mommy's side. (; But, we worked it out and were able to get some great shots. It's pretty easy when your subject is as adorable as this little guy.

P.S.- We're working on getting him used to the camera.... (;
